For me the trick after having a network printer driver "removed during a MS upgrade" is to unplug it from the router and first connect that printer to each pc in the the network as a local printer. Followed all the steps. Still won't install some of my old programs. Most that I did get installed won't open or run poorly with lock ups. One crashed me laptop. Thanks a lot.
