The intended audience is most likely Americans, but non-Americans can also benefit from understanding how Americans think and negotiate. At the end of the day, negotiations are an art rather than an exact science, and one needs to gain experience and make mistakes to improve. Having said that, you should at least make an effort to avoid obvious pitfalls, and this book will help you with that.
